The solid wood stairs produced by us are composed of triple-layered oak steps and solid oak counter-steps. We chose to opt for three-layer steps, because compared to solid steps, layered steps have greater stability and resistance to shock and temperature changes inside the house. The material used by our company is dried up to 10% humidity in the latest generation vacuum dryer, and the joining between the elements is done with D4 glue from the company Collanti Concorde in Italy, using a press with heated plates. Over the years, our steps will remain as they appeared on the first day of installation.
The counter-step consists of two or more elements of solid A-class oak wood joined together. The elements were dried to 10% humidity, and joined with D4 glue from the Collanti Concorde company in Italy.
The step is composed of an intermediate layer of solid oak in the middle with a thickness of 20 mm, and the top and bottom is a lamella of 4.5 mm thickness. This type of construction is much more laborious and expensive than an ordinary step made of a single layer, but it offers long-term stability, and resistance to temperature changes inside the house.
In version 1, the elements that make up the upper part of the step can be 2 or a maximum of 3.

In version 2, the upper part of the step is composed of a single element, this gives it a special design, as the step is made of a single piece of wood.
